Belong Nottingham

Pathways to Inclusion and Employment

Supporting Refugees, Migrants, and Economically Inactive Individuals in Nottingham

At Belong Nottingham, we’re proud to introduce Pathways to Inclusion and Employment, an empowering programme funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), dedicated to helping people who are currently not working get back into education, training, or employment.

This initiative is designed specifically for people in Nottingham who face challenges accessing the job market, especially refugees, migrants, older adults, young people (18–24), women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with health conditions.

What the Programme Offers

We understand that everyone’s journey is different. That’s why we’ve designed a flexible, person-centred programme delivered in three key stages:

Help with accessing local services and benefits

2. Removing Barriers & Career Management

Get work-ready with tailored employability support:

CV writing, interview skills, and job applications
Understanding your rights at work
Guidance on UK job markets and recognised qualifications

3. Journey2Volunteering / Work Ready

Step into real-world opportunities:

Volunteering and work placements
Networking with local employers
Ongoing job search and in-work support
